BACKGROUND

Ever since I lived on the island of São Miguel in the Azores I have had a very special feeling for the place
and over the years since my departure I have tried to share the beauty of the islands with as many people
as I can.

When I discovered a number of truly excellent photographers actually operate from there, it seemed the next
logical step must be to share their work with Cam viewers, who are after all a very discerning group of people
with an appreciation for the beauty of our world and for good photography...

...and so the Azores Cam was born.

Obviously updates of the page will depend on the number of photographs I can get hold of, but I hope to be
able to bring you many wonderful images from a group of photographers whose work you might otherwise
never get to know, and who share my love for the island paradise that is the Azores.
