Week 167

A MEANDER IN THE YARRA FLATS AREA

The Yarra flowing quietly past, as seen from under the Banksia Road bridge.

A magpie was browsing through the wet grass...

Here the river runs faster.

One of the many open areas in the Yarra Flats Park - ideal for summer picnics!

A shower of silver wattle blossoms.

We catch a glimpse of the river through the trees...

The Yarra, seen from the Banksia Road bridge.

Some birches in their winter starkness.

And this magnificent old oak put on some lichen for a spot of colour.

Banksia Road, and we're back in the hurly-burly!
