Week 170

SOUTH MELBOURNE

1.  Looking north along Clarendon Street towards the city centre.

2. The South Melbourne Town Hall, built in 1880 (my apologies for the luminous orange Ford F150!).

3. Another lovely old building used to house the Patross Knitting Mills.

4.  The Courier Printing Office dates from 1882.

5. One wing of the stunning apartment building called Regent's Terrace.

6. Detail of the same building.

7. The warm sun picks out this mellow old house.

8. One of the older mansions is Hollyford, built in 1873.

9. A coat of arms on the Freemason's (sic) Hall caught my eye.

10. The Rialto Tower seen over a very much older roof.
