Week 185

DAREBIN CREEK, THORNBURY

1.  The first thing I spotted was this dandelion seed...

2. ... followed by these dry grass seed husks.

3. Looking downstream. It's a fairly wild-looking area in the bustle of a busy
suburb.

4.  Upstream, this tree beckons the hot and bothered wanderer with its bit
of shade.

5. Running water, always good for the soul.

6. Looking down on the creek from the Dundas Street footbridge.

7. A creek abstract.

8. It's not often one can catch a magpie napping!

9. The path along above the creek is for cyclists and hikers.

10. There are some new houses going up along the creek, and this one's lovely contrasts
caught my eye.
