4. A picnic atmosphere prevailed, with people making the most of the day (this is before the showers came). |

5. In the main shed the Irish folk singer Bap Kennedy wows the crowd. |

6. The highlight of the day for me was the powerful voice and performance of the legendary American performer Steve Young. |
|||||
|
7. Earlier in the marquee: The Small Knives playing to a still smallish audience of all ages. |

8. Then the day turned wet and windy, as shown by this long view of the nearby hillside. |

9. Not everyone could fit
into the marquee, but at least the clear plastic walls enabled those
outside to see as well -- and |
