FROM ABOVE...

1.  The Eureka Tower, with Government House and the Royal Botanic Gardens in the
distance . Note the shadow of the Rialto Tower.

2. A river cruise boat seen from an unusual angle.

3. The view east. Fitzroy Gardens on the left and  the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Rod Laver and Vodafone Arenas  in
the middle distance.

4.  They seem to be working on the footbridge across the Yarra. The ghostly "echo" of the bridge is merely a reflection in
the glass of the observation deck.

5. A closer look at the giant Ferris wheel in the Birrarung Mar Reserve, visible in
image 3.

6. Looking south past the Crown Casino (on the right) towards Albert Park.

7. Zooming in on the roof terrace on top of one level of the casino building (bottom right-hand corner of the previous image).

8. The soft afternoon light adds charm to an already lovely city.

9. Looking northeast, with the conical glass dome of Melbourne Central (covering the old shot tower) just visible in the
centre.

10. Evening haze over the Yarra and Docklands. The Bolte Bridge is in the middle distance and the Westgate Bridge on
the far left.
