SEEN HERE, SEEN THERE
 

This week's images were all taken on my outing last week, but they did not fit with the People
City theme. You should know by now that my quirky eye will NOT allow me to pass by some
strange angle or abstract, or anything striking or unusual! So these photos are yet another
celebration of this city that I have grown to love...
 

1. One of the turrets on the Forum Cinema stands out well against the modern tower behind it.

2. The geometry of Federation Square always appeals to me.

3. Looking towards the Edge Theatre, Federation Square (on the river side).

4. A sunny day on the Yarra, with the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the distance.

5. The river's north bank is always a hive of activity. The place where I stopped for my beer is just to the left of the big tree in the
forground..

6. More geometry .. rear stairway to the Arts Centre.

7. The western part of the north bank, with the footbridge and the Rialto Tower, formerly Melbourne's tallest building.

8. Melburnians have a very close relationship with the city's public art.

9. The footbridge, and Flinders Street station's clock tower.
