ST KILDA
 

St Kilda lies on one of the most picturesque parts of the Port Phillip Bay shores. It used to be a
highly fashionable resort, just a short distance from Melbourne's CBD. The area went through a
slump for a few years, but has again become a sought-after area and has become a great
tourist attraction. Nowadays it is popular for its picturesque bayside setting, close proximity to the
city, beaches, music venues, restaurants and café lifestyle.

 

1. I spotted this charming house on my way from the tram stop to the beach.

2. St Kilda beach, with Luna park in the background. It was a good 32°C, so the beach was a popular place to be!
