Week 255

WILSON BOTANIC PARK - AGAIN
 

This week's offerings come from my third visit to the lovely, compact Wilson Botanic Park
in Berwick, about ten minutes' drive from home. I set myself the challenge to come up with
images that are different from those of past visits, and may just have succeeded, on the whole!


 

1. The lake is pretty low after the long, dry summer.

2. Just a humble weed, but there is a moral in this one...

3. An Australian Wood Duck, Chenonetta jubata.

4. Looking back from the upper lake, the polarizing filter enhancing the wonderful light.

5. Yes, I know, I know.. but I still cannot resist photographing them!

10. Autumn is here, although there is still plenty of green around.
