Week 260

COUNTRYSIDE

This Sunday it seemed a good idea to go out into the country after the good rain we had the previous
night. My first idea was to get some photos in the Dandenong Ranges forests, but I was seduced by
the light on the fields and hills...

1. The station at Menzies Creek on the Puffing Billy steam train line.

2. A short walk away and this vista opened up. Notice how low the water level is in the Cardinia Reservoir. Melbourne's water
storage levels is now at 32%.

3. Looking west... It's raining over Port Phillip Bay.

4. A quiet track .

5. On the way to Emerald I spotted this hillside with its spatter of cows.

6. Still some dramatic skies about.

7.  Afternoon sun on fields.

8. My old friend the white horse is having an early dinner, it seems.

9. Warm light... I love it!

10. Such a serene view...
