Week 287

BLACKBURN LAKE SANCTUARY - A RETURN

It was about time I went to pay the Blackburn Lake Sanctuary another visit, so this past Sunday
I walked around the lake again and the images below are the result. The Sanctuary is a park in
the bustling suburb of Blackburn, less than 30 km from the city centre of Melbourne, but once one
has entered the area, you may as well be in the bush; only the occasional sound of passing traffic
reminds one that this is a park in a city suburb!
