Week 315

MULGRAVE RESERVE

My apologies for the lateness of this update; Sunday was a really wet day and I did not want to risk getting
the camera soaked, so this week's images come from a stroll through the nearby Mulgrave Reserve on a very
heavily overcast Monday afternoon.

1.It was a heavily overcast day.

2. A splash of sun.

3. At times the sky was really dramatically dark.

4. Fungi next to the path.

5.Another splash of sun on a distant hill.

6. In the wetlands area the green of new growth contrasts with the dry rushes, parched by the dry summer.

7.  It was much darker than this view of the wetlands indicates.

9. Watery light over a flooded piece of wetland.

10. The foot- and cycling path running through the reserve is part of the Eastlink Trail, which, in turn forms part of the Dandenong Creek
Trail .
