Week 317

ON THE BAY

The images this week come from a late afternoon visit to Oliver's Hill, a lookout point just south of
Frankston on the eastern shore of Port Phillip Bay. The light was absolutely fabulous and the Bay
as flat as a mirror...

1.Where cloud and sea meet.

2. A serene sight - hard to imagine there was a busy road just ten metres behind me!

3. A few lone fishing boats are still out on the Bay.

4. This fellow came to have a closer look at what I was doing (or maybe it's a lass?).

5.Frankston Pier and the Dandenong Ranges on the horizon.

6. As the light faded the clouds seemed to glow even brighter.

7.  Angel light on the Bay.

8. Still fishing...

9. Breathtaking... yet another simple beauty that lifts one's spirits.

 10. ... and now the day is done...
