Week 325

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL - PART 2

This  week  the Cam to features more random views of  the city of São Paulo. Rainy weather has meant
that my sightseeing, and especially taking photographs, has been rather curtailed! I hope, however, that
you will find something worth looking at in the images of the week...

1. Apartment buildings near the Avenida Paulista.

2. Busy hour at a pub in the Pinheiros district.

3. This flight of steps caught my eye...

4. On the Avenida Sarim Farah Maluf, in the Agua Rasa district.

5.The tall apartment blocks are slowly taking over from the old houses in the Agua Rasa district.

6. Old and new in the modern downtown area.

7. On a quiet cul de sac in the Pinheiros district.

8. More old and new, this time in Agua Rasa, near where I am now staying.

9. All that remains of a demolished building... the site is for sale.

 10. Evening over the city, as seen from the metro station at Bélem.

2. A stately facade.

3. At the antiques fair and craft market on the Praça Benedito Callisto.

4. A quirky papier mâché giraffe.

5.Some red.

6. Wall art.

7. Who said a public phone cannot be sexy?

8. The Clinicas Metro station.

9. A quiet, leafy cul de sac in the Pinheiros district And no, you are NOT seeing things, that is
indeed an aeroplane between the buildings! I caught it as it was on its final approach to
Congonhas airport, which is more or less in the inner city.

 10. The weather has been glorious!
