Week 326

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL - PART 3

This  week  the Cam  features more random views of  the city of São Paulo grabbed as I went here and
there in this huge city. There is SO much to see, but not nearly enough time! So you will unfortunately have
to settle for what I can find!

1. Descending - escalators in the shopping centre above the metro station at Tatuapé.

2. Grabbing a few moments' rest in the busy shopping day (Tatuapé shopping centre).

3. Tower of reflections on the Avenida Pres. Juscelino Kubitschek in the Moema district.

4. First-floor shop window in Moema.

5. An old church building on the Praça Patriarca, in the Anhangabaú area of the older
part of the city centre.

6. The Catedral Metropolitana de São Paulo on the Praça da Sé, in the same part of
the city, is a wonderful Gothic cathedral. The many red shirts belong to members of
CUT, a trade union congress, which had a march just before we arrived on the scene.

7. A face in the crowd... how could I NOT grab this shot?!

8. Light from the stained glass windows falling on the nave columns inside the cathedral.

9. An open door...

 10. The Igreja da Irmandade de Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Homens Pretos on the
Praça Paissandu in the Republica district of the old downtown area.
