FERNTREE GULLY - A SHORT WALK
Back in Melbourne, so
this time the images are from a short walk through the woods at the
foot of
One Tree Hill, Ferntree Gully. These woods, and the hill, are in the
Dandenong Ranges National
Park and always popular with Melburnians and visitors alike.
1. Steps to seemingly nowhere.
2. A bed of daisies.
3. The living and the dead.. and both equally beautiful.
4. Entwined.
5. Fellow walkers.
6. This S-bend must give the mountain bikers a great thrill!
7. Dense bush.. probably much like it was when the first European settlers arrived here.
8. Spring green.
9. And of course I get the best shots from the car, after clambering up and down the hill!
10. A magpie came to see what I was doing sitting in my car.
