Week 343
DANDENONG CREEK AND SURROUNDS, WHEELERS HILL
A walk of less
than two kilometres this past Sunday in the area of the Mulgrave Reserve
produced this week's images. In stead of just the usual wider views, I tried to
bring you glimpses
of smaller details as well...

1. A glimpse of the creek.

2. I have no idea what plant bears these fruit, sorry.

3. Dried seedcases.

4. A quiet reach of the creek.

5. These tiny flowers are less than 5 mm across.

6. Another magical view of the creek.

7. Looking up for a change.

8. Pretty pink, but unknown
to me... sadly my searches for the names of minor wetlands plants of
Victoria failed to produce any
results...

9. The bird hide overlooks the wetlands.

10. A magpie in a tree eyed me warily.
