Week 350
FLINDERS TO RICHMOND AND BACK
This Sunday I
took a stroll from Flinders Street station along the northern bank of the Yarra,
heading
east towards the Rod Laver Arena and the Melbourne Cricket Ground, returning
past Jollimont Station and
making a detour through the serene Fitzroy Gardens before taking a tram back to
Flinders.
1. Imposing cumulus stacked above the river to the east.
2. There was a gathering of MGs in the Birrarung Mar Reserve on the river's northern bank.
3. A hazy afternoon over the city, looking back across Birrarung Mar.. see the yellow MG?
4. This covered walkway connects the Melbourne Park sports complex with the MCG and Rod Laver Arena.
5. Black and white view of the railway tracks leading towards Flinders St station.
6. Under the elms in Fitzroy Gardens.
7. A good spot on St Valentine's Day!
8. Tranquility.
