Week 356

SOME OF THIS, SOME OF THAT

The images this week are from last week's photo shoot. They were taken on a ramble between Docklands
and Swanston Street.

1. Writing on the water - reflections in Docklands Park.

2. Looking out on Victoria Harbour. The solitary figure is pure serendipity, as the area was crowded
because of the dragon boat races!

3. Pilings, Victoria Harbour.

4. Still in Victoria Harbour - weathered wood, and water...

5. I liked the light on the southern facade of this apartment block.

6. A much more ordinary view of the stainless steel sculpture on Harbour Esplanade (no. 7 last week).

7. This interesting gargoyle (?) is on a building facade in Collins Street. The warm light is reflected
from a building across the street, not late afternoon light.

8.Looking into a hallway, Collins Street. A tricky shot as the exposure was 1/4 sec.
and I had no tripod with me, so had to brace the camera against the door frame!

9. Centre Place, and another long exposure...

 10. Swanston Street glimpsed through Cathedral Arcade.
